This Privacy Policy explains how iServices Integrated Ltd (“iVa”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use the iVa unified inbox platform (the “Service”). By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.
1. Who we are
iVa is operated by iServices Integrated Ltd, a company registered in Nigeria (RC 8471444), with its registered office at Plot 26, Gold Court Estate, Jahi, FCT, Abuja, Nigeria. For any privacy question, contact us at privacy@useiva.com.
2. Information we collect
- Account information: your name, email address, business/organisation name, and password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Channel connection data: the credentials and access tokens you provide to connect messaging channels (for example a Telegram bot token, an email app password, or an access token from Meta or Google). These are used solely to send and receive messages on your behalf.
- Message content: the conversations, messages, contact names and identifiers that flow through the channels you connect, so we can display them in your inbox and let you reply.
- Usage data: basic technical information such as log records and device/browser information, used to operate and secure the Service.
3. How we use your information
- To provide the core Service — aggregating your connected channels into one inbox and delivering the replies you send.
- To authenticate you and keep your workspace secure and isolated from other businesses.
- To operate, maintain, troubleshoot and improve the Service.
- To communicate with you about your account, security, and service updates.
We do not sell your personal data or your customers’ messages, and we do not use your message content for advertising.
4. Third-party platforms
When you connect a channel, we interact with that provider’s API strictly to send and receive your messages. This includes platforms such as Meta (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger), Google (Gmail), Telegram, and email providers via IMAP/SMTP. Your use of those platforms remains subject to their own terms and privacy policies. We access only the data needed to operate your inbox, and only for the accounts you explicitly connect.
5. How we share information
We share information only with:
- Members of your own organisation whom you invite to your shared inbox.
- Infrastructure providers that host and run the Service (for example our cloud hosting and database providers), bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Authorities, where required by law.
6. Data retention
We retain your account and message data for as long as your account is active. When you disconnect a channel, we stop syncing new messages from it. When you delete your account, we delete your data as described below.
7. Data deletion & your rights
You can disconnect any channel at any time from your settings, which immediately revokes our ongoing access to that account. You may request deletion of your account and all associated data — including stored messages and channel credentials — by emailing privacy@useiva.com. We will process verified deletion requests within 30 days. You also have the right to access, correct, or export your personal data.
8. Security
We protect your data with encryption in transit, hashed passwords, encrypted storage of channel credentials, and strict per-organisation data isolation. No system is perfectly secure, but we work continuously to safeguard your information.
9. Children
The Service is intended for businesses and is not directed to children under 16. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be posted on this page with an updated date, and where appropriate we will notify you directly.
